for all of your nice comments about my last post. I'm feeling much better about it all. I think that I just needed to get it off my chest and now I'm going to not to let it get to me. I think that Jacquie put it best... I'm going to try to "blog without obligation." Plus I had a nice full day of sewing yesterday! I made major progress on the hexagons. It's been so long since I've made a queen sized quilt that I'd forgotten how much longer it takes to get a big top finished up.
You know what I need? A much bigger design wall. But not having one has forced sorting out some organization systems or else I loose track of all the hexagons!
Just have to sew the columns together and add a white border to either side, trim the top & bottom and it will be done! It's nice and big. It will be 91" x 93" once I add the borders.
Maybe it's time to start pulling fabrics for the next quilt...
