It’s so tough to pick my current favorite quilt to feature in Amy’s online quilt festival (such a fun idea!) but I’m going to have to go with the Red & Aqua lap quilt. I love it – who doesn’t love the color combo??

Red & Aqua Quilt

I used white in both the sashing and the blocks in the quilt and I love the framing it creates for each and every fabric in the quilt.

I like your idea of using the same color inside the blocks and for sashing. It does give it a very neat look!

I really love how you used the solid color to frame the other fabrics and make them pop so nicely.

I read your blog regularly, but don’t always take the time to leave a comment. I really love this quilt! I love those colors together, and I love the way you used the white in the block and as sashing. I really need to try that too.
