A wedding gift

Next Up

The next quilt I’ll be working on which is a wedding gift for an old dear friend and his new husband. I’ve started up a day job again for a few weeks (anyone know any antique experts who wanna be on TV?) so the quilting is slow going these days but I’m excited to dive into this one. Lavender isn’t my usual go to color, but it was requested and I always love the challenge of working within someone’s requests. As long as I get to be “me” within them of course!

Hope you all have great weekends ahead of you!

I look forward to seeing this quilt come together! Good luck with work, sorry no experts in these parts.

Love your sketch! I’m with you on the lavendar, but the fabrics you’ve put with it make it look great – more like a variation of grey.

Your job seems like so much fun! I really like the fabrics you chose, and the lavender looks beautiful mixed into that combo (and I’m not a purple person at all). Can’t wait to see it finished!

My daughter just told me you were looking for an antique expert. I’m not sure how much of an expert I am, but I have 3 vintage shops on Etsy. I’d love to hear more about the opportunity! Thanks!

Love the sketch you made, and I really like the fabrics pulled. Then agin purple and grey is one of my favorite color combos.
