Finally got started on a quilt for Gabe, made by me! The entire pregnancy went by and I didn’t sew a stitch of a quilt for him… but hopefully I’ll get this start finished up this week.

Gabe's Quilt

Oh design wall, where would I be without you? I don’t know how quilters work without one! They are so worth the wall space they take up…

Silly question, I know. But how did you create your particular design wall? And what are some alternatives if one is wall-deprived???

I love it. What a perfect design, and it’s absolutely fabulous in orange and gray!

I use the floor since my space is only ever temporary. The carpet’s neutral enough for my purposes right now, I guess. Someday, when I have a dedicated sewing space, I definitely plan to have a design wall….

    The quilt will be lovely!

Wow I love the design and color choice of this quilt! Absolutely awesome. I’m right there with CitricSugar in that my space is temporary. There is so much value in a design wall so I forsee one in my very near future!!!

What a great design! It’s going to look great and I’m curious to see how you choose to quilt it.

I love the design! I’m embarrassed to say my little one is now 18 months and does not have a quilt made by mom! Got to get to it!
